Showcasing AICE Media Studies AS Research

Researching the company "O' Reilly Media, recognizing what they produce through thorough research. Then collaborating on the 6.3 task with my group, discussing if Getty Publications is a compatible company for fashion magazines. Genre Research

Showcasing AICE Media Studies AS Research

Slice of life media: A film genre that centers around normal people and portrays everyday experiences of characters with low stakes of drama and high realism.

Therefore I chose 3 dramas in which I will research and understand why these structure my plans for my Film Opening.

Opening Credits

I chose to use 'Love Next Door', as an example for opening credits.

This series involves an effective example of opening credits due to the VFX choices in editing.

In K-dramas, melodramatic refers to storytelling that is highly emotional, exaggerated, and often centered on intense personal struggles, family conflicts, and romantic entanglements. Therefore, enduring my choices of:

Characterization

Showcasing AICE Media Studies AS Research

Characterization is major in films, which lets the audience know what they are getting themselves into.

Furthermore, this is process of revealing a character’s personality, motivations, and traits through their actions, dialogue, and behavior, making them feel real, relatable, and emotionally engaging to the audience.
